Healer/Teacher

Tara Jones's work is the realm of body-mind-heart healing through Transformational Coaching, Breathwork, and Massage Therapy. She is the owner of Makia Rising.

Her love of the body started at an early age through dance and art, finding the freedom to express herself and an avenue to release her creativity. She especially found movement and self expression essential during her teen years, healing from the hardship and grief after her mother passed away at age fifteen.

This pull towards healing naturally led to Feldenkrais Method and yoga studies in college continuing to deepen her fascination with the mental and emotional connection it has within the body and the somatic healing that can happen when we consciously bring love and attention to ourselves.

Tara’s passion for whole-body wellness really solidified once she began her deep studies of meditation and eventually entered into the Healing Arts field as a Massage Therapist, Breathwork Guide, and Transformational Coach.

She is honored now to work deeply with clients worldwide, bringing her 20 plus years of knowledge to connecting mind, body, and spirit through breath, movement, mindfulness, and the healing power of presence.
