Katherine Knoploh

Holistic Health Coach, Cancer Warrior

Hello! I'm Katherine. Are you looking for a voice of inspiration?

The path that led me to discover my life purpose is one of cancer, healing, inspiration, and finally, vitality.
When I received a call in 2015 confirming that I had stage three breast cancer at the age of 46, the direction of my life instantly changed. Three weeks after my diagnosis I had a double mastectomy, which was followed by five months of chemotherapy and six weeks of radiation. I later went through several surgeries for reconstruction, but found the emotional healing to be just as hard, if not harder, than the physical challenges. The fears of recurrence held me back from living for a period of time. It was through friendships with other cancer patients and studying holistic health that allowed me to see that I could make a difference in the lives of others by sharing my story and the strategies that I've developed to help myself and others move from pain, fear and grief to living with vitality.

A bit more about me:
I'm a mom to boy/girl twins who were very premature and both have special needs. Because of this, I have been immersed in the medical and special needs communities for over 20 years. I'm comfortable in a clinical setting and have partnered with doctors, nurses, speech therapists, occupational therapists and physical therapists. These experiences served me well when first, a family member was diagnosed with Leukemia, and shortly after, my own diagnosis.
As a Holistic Health Coach I truly believe that all aspects of our life contribute to our health. This includes food, movement, relationships, and our work.

What I do today:
I speak to groups in person and enjoy reaching people through my YouTube channel, Inspired Vitality, as well as podcast audiences.
With coaching I offer one-time stress management sessions and individual coaching for people affected by cancer.

While sharing her cancer story, Katherine can inspire and weave the following topics into her speech/guest appearance:
- Perseverance
- Moving from being stuck in pain, grief and fear to living
- Fears/emotions with cancer
- Relationship changes as a result of a cancer diagnosis
- Parenting/special needs parenting, when diagnosed and while going through cancer treatment.

As your guest you can expect:
- A thoughtful, honest conversation. My purpose is to provide inspiration and useful takeaways.
- I will be prepared for the interview. I value professionalism.
- I will promote my episode on social media and through my email list.

I look forward to hearing from you if you think I can provide value to your audience!
