Nischa Phair is an embodiment researcher and coach specializing in pleasure work. She has worked as a movement, embodiment and contemplative practice educator for 14 years through Yoga (RYT500), Pilates, Hoop Dance and Somatics (Body Mind Centering, Laban Movement Analysis).
Nischa believes that our relationship to pleasure is directly proportional to our well being and by expanding our window of tolerance for pleasure, we can expand our capacity for healthy love, professional success and overall well-being.
Her work is holistic in that it unites the physical, emotional, sexual and spiritual parts of self while staying rooted in modern, evidence-based systems and approaches including movement based Somatics, embodiment philosophy, trauma theory, feminism and social justice. She is also a Certified Advanced Trainer in NeurOptimal Neurofeedback.
Nischa is an MA candidate at York University, Toronto, living and working on the unceded territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples, where she is also training as a Somatic Movement Therapist.
